Safety is our top priority! Some of our safety measures include:
- Every staff member has passed a background check.
- All Camp Directors are certified in First Aid and CPR.
- We adhere to the CDC Recommendations for Preventing Heat-Related Illness and for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19.
- Counselors take roll and/or perform head counts routinely throughout the day.
- We have access to a lightning alert system. In case of inclement weather, campers will be moved inside. This includes during carpool.
- During Afternoon Swim Time:
- Certified Lifeguards are on duty at all times we are in the pool. In addition, counselors are spread out around the pool monitoring campers.
- On the first day of camp, all campers who want to swim must pass a swim test in order to enter the deep end of the pool. Everyone is allowed in the shallow end. Non-swimmers and weaker swimmers are required to wear a camp provided life vest and must stay in the shallow end. Campers who choose not to swim will play board games outside of the pool area or more tennis (High Flyers only)
- Campers are not permitted to use the high dives.
